ABOUT THE IMAGESInspired by images of Internally Displaced Person�s Camps in Northern Uganda, LUCIE THEROUX donated original painting(s) to the Foundation to be used as fundraisers through the issuing of Artists Proofs, Limited Edition Prints, Post Cards and Note Cards. AKONYE KENAMeaning "I Will Help Myself" in Acholi, a tribal language in northern Uganda, Akonye Kena promotes and supports committed self-sufficiency projects in Uganda. All items are purchased at fair market value. In addition, funding is provided to the project partners to provide the training and operational support for the project. At the end of each year, the projects participate in a profit-share with Akonye Kena. SHIPPINGA $2.50 shipping and handling fee will be added to the price of this item and includes tracked shipping throughout North America by express post. Brokerage and customs fees, if any, are the responsibility of the purchaser. International shipments will be shipped with tracking, and will incur additional fees due to the costs of shipping.
